Theory of operation
Four Quectel Mini PCIe EVB boards are each fitted with a Quectel EC25 modem and connected via a USB hub to a front-panel USB port.
EC25 modems benefit from integrated VoLTE support and audio I/O from the EVB boards is routed to a multi-pin connector.
The USB hub has the capability of powering individual ports, hence modems, on and off via software control.
